Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility: The amateur competition is open to everyone over 18 of age. Employees of Palmerstown Vets are not eligible to enter. Please don't submit your professionally taken photos.

  2. Entry: To enter, participants must submit a photo for one of the categories; Cat, Dog or Exotic. If 2 animals (eg a cat and dog) is in the photo, please say which category you’d like to enter. Entries must be submitted to info@palmerstownvets or DM us on Instagram @pvhvets by Thursday 5th September 2025. You may enter as many times as you wish.

  3. Prizes: There will be a first and second prize in each category, consisting of vouchers and hampers kindly provided by Hills, Maxi Zoo and Paws Solutions Grooming. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.

  4. Judging: Winners will be chosen by an independent panel of judges based on creativity, originality and fun. The judges' decision is final.

  5. Announcement: Winners will be announced on Instagram and Facebook on Thursday, September 26th. Winners will be contacted via direct message and must respond within 5 days to claim their prize. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize as we need to announce winners.

  6. Usage Rights: By entering the competition, participants grant Palmerstown Vets the right to use their submitted photos for promotional purposes across our social media channels, with full credit to the owner/photographer and in relation to the competition.

  7. Liability: Palmerstown Vets accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from entering the competition or acceptance of any prize.

  8. Data Protection: Personal data provided by participants will be used solely for the purpose of this competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

  9. Modification and Cancellation: Palmerstown Vets reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
