Back to Work and School – What does this mean for our Pets?
August 27, 2020

We are still open for your pets 🐾 There will be no compromise to the service that we give to your pet. So as much as we love seeing you and having lovely chats with you, for the next few weeks we will be limiting face to face time with our clients 💜

We are doing this with your health, public health and our staff health in mind.

🐾 If you have any symptoms of the coronavirus, or have likely been in contact with a confirmed case, please inform our staff before your appointment time. We can still treat your pet but this will allow us to take extra precautions.
🐾 For now, we will be postponing most of our nurse clinics and some non-essential vet appointments and surgeries.
🐾 Please be patient with our staff, we are working very hard to maintain our high standard of care during these unprecedented times.
🐾 Call us when you arrive for your appointment and wait in your car. We want to limit any people waiting by the front door.
🐾 We will call you back when the vet is ready for your pet & we will take your pet from you at the door – we will communicate with you on the phone while the pet is being examined and discuss the treatment plan with you.
🐾 We will get all the necessary medication ready, with your consent, and then pass your pet back out to you.
🐾 We will have the same approach towards admitting and discharging surgery appointments.
🐾 We will have systems in place for sensitive appointments. Please be assured, we will work with you and do what is necessary to keep pet and client safe and comfortable.
🐾 We are happy to chat to you on the phone if you have any concerns about our new consulting procedures.
🐾 We are open for food and medication sales: PLEASE CALL US IN ADVANCE (we require 24 hours notice for medication refills) so we can have this ready and where possible, we can take payment over the phone, limiting face to face time.
🐾 We apologise for any inconvenience and we thank you for cooperating. We are doing this for everyone’s health and safety.
As this situation is ever-changing, we will update our guidelines as needed.
Thank you and Take Care 💜
